General Information
Three course levels are offered for undergraduate students towards the B.A. degree: Pre-Advanced, Advanced 1 and Advanced 2 (exemption level). Students are placed into the appropriate level according to scores from the English section of the psychometric university entrance examination or the AMIR/AMIRAM exam, or according to grades from the previous level. Students with scores below Pre-Advanced level should first complete Intermediate-1 level course(s) taught by the Pre-Academic Unit.
In order to be eligible to take the final examination, students need to fulfill all course requirements. A final course grade of at least 60% must be obtained in order to pass each course and move to the next level.
An advanced Academic English Writing Course for M.A. and Ph.D. students is offered to improve graduate students’ writing skills.
